How this works. When you submit, we issue you a reference number and route the request to the NGO's Data Protection Officer. They have 30 days under the DPDP Act to respond. Some data must be preserved for statutory reasons - donation records, for instance, are retained for income-tax audit periods even after an erase request. We will tell you exactly what was actioned and what was kept.
